Adult sized hardwood poles with glued and capped ends. The rope used is tested, pretreated, and absorbs the bubble solution extremely well. The center of the bottom rope is weighted with metal washer to assist in dipping the ropes in the bubble solution.
The longer wands are helpful in keeping large bubbles high enough off the ground that kids don't pop bubbles before they get fully developed. The larger sized rods and rope also allow for the creation of much larger bubbles.
